Post Processing Magic: Winter Bridals

Friday, January 15th, 2010

Ok, it’s not really magic.  If we want to get technical, it’s just a bunch of 1′s and 0′s being re-arranged through a computer processor.  But that is really boring.  So I’m going to stick with calling it magic.

I often times find myself making multiple revisions of the same picture during post-processing.  It’s so hard to decide which version I like the best.  Thus, this is why I’m soliciting input from others.  Which version do you like the best?

1-Straight out of the camera . . . almost.  I adjusted the white balance and tone just a bit.

1.5-Warmed up just a hair, and bumped the contrast slightly.

2-Added a vignette, bumped the contrast up, added a slight green/brown split tone, and a barrage of other minute modifications.

3-Took #2 and added some grunge textures.
