Heidi Bridals : Salt Lake City Utah

Blake Beus | Friday, September 3rd, 2010

Wow.  I think summer just got away from me.  I can’t believe it’s September!

Well, it’s about time I posted these pictures of Heidi.  We did a bridal photography session for Heidi in Salt Lake City. We had so much fun shooting these pictures, I can’t wait to show you the wedding!

Rick and Heidi Engagement Photos : Bountiful Utah

Blake Beus | Wednesday, July 7th, 2010

Rick and Heidi were such a fun couple to shoot.  I might even go so far to say that they are rock stars.  You’ll be able to see why when you get to the last picture.  Their wedding is just around the corner, and we are so excited to be able to capture their big day.

Rexburg Idaho Temple Wedding – Devin and Whitney

Bryant Wimmer | Monday, May 24th, 2010

Here is a quick part two of Devin and Whitney’s Rexburg Idaho wedding. I couldn’t resist getting a couple good all natural shots of the temple…it was gorgeous. One thing Blake didn’t mention in his post is that it was freezing cold that day. I don’t know why mother nature feels the need to continue a winter’s butt-whoopin’ on us, but I’m getting tired of it. It’s nearly June and it looks like it’s about to snow outside right now. Okay…I’m done with my weather rant.

Devin and Whitney were a great couple to shoot. Apparently it was the end of the semester at BYU-Idaho that day. If the girls weren’t wearing caps and gowns, they were wearing wedding dresses (haha). My sincere congrats to this fine young couple and best wishes throughout their schooling. Enjoy these few shots:

Devin and Whitney : Rexburg Idaho

Blake Beus | Saturday, May 8th, 2010

Bryant and I were very excited for the opportunity to shoot Devin and Whitney’s wedding.  Their wedding was the first we’ve photographed at the Rexburg Idaho LDS temple.  Even though it was our first in Rexburg, it was such an amazing experience.  Devin and Whitney were pretty much rock stars.

One of my favorite parts about shooting a wedding is playing around with the artistic edits afterward.   You’ll notice that many of these are edited, and some have been edited a couple of different ways.  I’ll admit, I just couldn’t decide which I liked best, so I put them both up.  In case you were curious, when our clients get digital copies of the images, they get both the artistic edits, and the standard color corrected pictures.  What can I say, that’s how we roll.

10 Minute Twins Shoot

Blake Beus | Saturday, March 27th, 2010

My wife was the first to find out that we were having twins.  She didn’t tell me for an entire week.  How ridiculous is that!?  A couple of days after she found out, we had a 4 day camping trip planned in the Uinta Mountains.  The whole week we were up there, she didn’t mention a word of it to me.  That’s impressive.  Apparently she wanted me to see the ultrasound that showed both babies.  Let’s just say that I was shocked, when I finally found out.

My twin girls turned 1 year old in February, and we decided to take them out for a photo shoot.   As  you have probably guessed from the title of this post, my girls would only stay still for about 10 minutes.  Even though the shoot was short, we had a lot of fun, and we were able to really capture their personalities.
