I'm thrilled that you've taken the time to explore our photography website. Our goal for Photo54 is to become an elite brand of wedding photography throughout the United States and especially Utah (donde vivo). When people ask me why I enjoy wedding photography, I may respond with the latest off the wall thought like "because I like getting paid to shoot people". The truth is, I love photography, cake, making new friends, people that laugh, seeing people happy, capturing shots of people when they cry, and all the geeky stuff that goes on AFTER I'm done shooting a wedding. It's addicting, I love it and can't get enough of it.
Five things you may not know about me: (1) I dream of traveling the world, eating every type of ethnic cuisine along the way. (2) My hands always have to be clean and free from anything sticky. (3) I sometimes get up WHILE asleep and do stuff. Creepy I know. (4) Sad movies get to me. I fight back any sign of tears like it's the end of my life (and always win), but weep like a little child inside. (5) I sometimes dream of becoming a computer forensic scientist.

My photography journey has been such an enjoyable adventure. It all started when I married my wife. I suddenly had a desire to really document our life together, and to tell our story in a meaningful and creative way. Years later, not much has changed. I'm still driven to document and present stories, I've just expanded my vision to include your story. Capturing moments in a way that empowers them to last forever is a rush for me. What's the best part about running a wedding photography business? There are two parts to this answer: (1)I get to meet some seriously cool people and (2)I get to record, and tell memorable stories with still photos.
Arbitrary Blake Facts:
- In the last 5 years, there have only been about 5 days where I haven't eaten any chocolate.
- I've played the drums since I was 12. My dream of becoming a rock star resurfaces from time to time.
- My all-time favorite music album is Siamese Dream by Smashing Pumpkins.
- I grew up in a town with a population of less than 300 people.
- I'm glad being a nerd is cool now, because I'm a complete nerd. Thankfully, my wife likes nerds.
- I love reading books (adding to the nerd status). I once read a 700+ page book in 4 days. Gotta love Harry Potter.
- My 10 least favorite words are: "You don't like sushi? You haven't tried good sushi then."
- My wife is totally out of my league. After years of marriage, I still don't know how I pulled it off.
- I am often times distracted by shiny objects.
